Who are we?
When you decide on a trip to the South on board a sailing yacht, it is important to know with whom you are going to spend 15 days, a month or more in a restricted space. The choice is not an easy one
Hugues Delignières, 54, French has more than 30 years of sailing experience. He has sailed and worked on the trans oceanic French racing boats Charentes Maritimes and on the Class America yacht Ville de Paris.

In 1990/1991, he wintered alone in the Antarctic Peninsula with his first boat Oviri, purposely enclosed in the ice of Pleneau island.

One lonely year in his igloo-boat cut up by sledge and ski journeys.

Marie Paul Delignières
, 49, French, studied and worked in Marketing and Communication in Paris. She sailed few years in Fireland on a charter yacht and as guide/translator before living with Hugues.

We have been sailing and living in the austral areas for 25 years and we now live in the Falkland Islands where we run a sheep farm. The yacht is anchored in front of the house.

Le Sourire - South Orkney Islands
After many years of family sailing, improving our knowledge of these countries, we invite you to embark with us on board "Le Sourire" for a trip to the Falkland Islands, Antarctica or South Georgia.

Or why not to a place you have always been dreaming about and that we could discover together?
